printmaster platinum 18 not downloading online graphics

It seems kind of strange to me to 'save' a project only to bring it up for revisions later with added characters within the text. Yes, I downloaded the patch when it first became available and just today had the problem with the characters popping up and missing text letters.

Iam new to this section but was wondering we make all these nice cards but no envelopes to match the size of the cards i have seen it before where lines are drawn for cuting and making but cant remember what program has it does print master gold

If I want to install a newer version, is it okay to run BOTH programs or should I overwrite 3.0 with the newer version? On my hard drive, do I have to insert the CDROM each time to run the program?
